Origami-Inspired Elegance in Dining

The hotel's restaurant stands as an architectural masterpiece, inspired by the intricate art of origami. The ceiling, an inverted pyramid structure, is a marvel of creativity, incorporating complex vertices and triangulations, making it a memorable feature for dining guests.

Guerrero, the architect, aimed to create a sense of lightness and flexibility, which is reflected in the ceiling’s geometric patterns, adding spaciousness and dynamism to the dining experience. “We wanted to transmit this sensation of lightness; the element of origami communicates movement and flexibility, expanding the space of the room,” explains Guerrero.

Monolithic Acoustic Solutions

The use of Rockfon Mono Acoustic ceiling technology was key in realizing Guerrero’s vision for the restaurant. This innovative solution allows for the creation of architectural ceilings and walls that are not only visually striking but also acoustically superior. The flexibility of Mono Acoustic means that designers can craft flat, sloped, or curved surfaces in any configuration, offering complete creative freedom. The material, made from recyclable stone wool, aligns with contemporary design trends, boasting bold lines and smooth surfaces for a modern look.

Today, the hotel boasts an interior that not only mesmerises with its inverted pyramid ceiling but also addresses the acoustic challenges of a bustling hotel environment, offering a peaceful indoor haven for its guests.
